The year 2022 was a rollercoaster ride for me. I was working in the automotive domain for the past 8 years and I could see some of the engineer's work getting reduced and was done by software.

This made me think through and I started participating in making such new products with help of software developers of our company. While working with them, I used to ask a lot many questions and find their work interesting. I loved the way, how our imagination comes into the picture with coding. Well, this was the time, when I thought of trying this out.

First Step: Finding Roadmap

When you are new to the software world, finding the right path is always difficult. One should take time and look into their interest area. I had to choose between Frontend or backend. Python or JavaScript?

Settling down to Choices

After, doing a lot of studies and seeing different options, I found my interest in Frontend.

Frontend and Pregnancy

I completed my HTML course and started learning CSS by Jan end. This was the time when I got good news about my pregnancy completed my HTML course and started learning CSS by Jan end. This was the time when I got good news about my pregnancy.

Now, both pregnancy and the coding journey had to go hand in hand. The first three months were a bit of a struggle with learning programming but I didn't give up. I heard somewhere that if you learn and implement just one thing in a day, it will give good results in the end.

Twitter Growth to 10k followers

I completed my basics of CSS by end of February and started building projects on my own. I enjoyed making CSS art. I started posting my artwork on Codepen and Twitter. I got a great response and started getting followers on Twitter. Some of the followers started asking questions about the different properties of CSS.

I started posting more content on Twitter. I explained different CSS properties, and project ideas to beginners, and shared my source code with them.

Sharing content on social media helped me a lot. I became consistent in my learning path. I would revalidate my threads before posting and would never miss a day when I didn't learn and post. Created projects that helped me and my followers. Today, I have 10K followers, thanks to learn and share motto.

Journey never ends

2022 gave me so much.

I am the mother of a beautiful baby girl. And with learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS and GitHub this year, I feel confident enough to utilise my knowledge and give back to the community with blogs or threads.

Hope you liked my journey. In the end, I could say that if I can, then anyone can. Nothing is easy, all you need is hard work and dedication to achieve your goals ๐Ÿ‘
